Member Mixer: October 16, 5:30-7:30pm!

The Bogey Factory, Verona

Join us for a fun mixer on Thursday, October 16 at The Bogey Factory in Verona! No registration is required. Members and non-members are welcome and are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages.

We will have 1 Trackman bay available for you to test your skills. Clubs will be available, so no need to bring your own. We look forward to seeing you there!

SSS will resume twice per month in 2026

Sips, Swings, & Suites Returns on October 6!

Join fellow LPGA Amateur chapter members and non-members for an evening of socializing while improving your golf game. Range balls will be provided, and a PGA teaching professional will be providing 1:1 instruction!

Program includes one drink of your choice (wine, beer and cocktails available), range balls, Toptracer, and reserved Golf Suite during the 1.5 hour period. The one hour of PGA Professional golf instruction will be provided from 5:30-6:30pm.

All levels are welcome, especially beginners! Cost is $20 for members and $35 for non-members with a maximum of 9 participants.

PLEASE NOTE: If 5 or more golfers are not registered 24 hours in advance, the event will be cancelled and you will be refunded or able to roll your payment over to another date.

Chapter Championship and Scramble Recap

We had a fantastic day of golf on September 7 at the Meadows of Sixmile Creek. Members competed as individuals in the Chapter Championship and Eraser Tournament or as 2-person teams in a scramble.

Sarah Pophal and Mindy Walker are our gross and net 2025 Chapter Champions, respectively (pictured below center). Mary Elvekrog and Ginger Zimmerman won the scrambled (pictured below left with 2nd place finishers Sandra Latham and Brenda Homeister). Peg Carlson and Terri Redmond won low gross and net in the Eraser tournament, with Jane Malm taking home Most Improved honors (pictured below right).

Mindy Walker and Brenda Homeister won 1st low gross in B flight
Wendy Proctor and Ros Gusinow won 2nd low net in B flight
Terri Redmond and Linda Shinner won 1st low net in C flight
Paula Garcia and Diane Byrne won 3rd low net in C flight

The Madison Public Links tournament was held at the end of August at Yahara Hills and Odana Hills:

Angelina Parrinello won overall low gross
Lisa Herfel won 1st low net in championship flight
Brigitte Jagemann won 2nd low net in championship flight
Tam Flarup won 1st low gross in flight A
Carrie Leikness won 2nd low gross in flight A
Ros Gusinow won 1st low net in flight A
Lauren Meinholz won 2nd low net in flight A

The WSGA Senior Tour Event was held this month. Peg Carlson won 1st low gross in the super senior category, Susan Crowson won 1st low net in the super senior category, and Wendy Proctor won 2nd low net in the super senior category.
