"Street Photography" during the historic snowstorm in Madrid

The long-awaited 2021 has arrived so that we miss 2020; third wave of the pandemic, assault on the US Capitol Building, and a snowfall that has paralyzed and isolated the capital of Spain. Events that some of us take advantage of to arm ourselves with courage and shelter, and go outside to capture unique moments in time.

New open edition collection installation: "Desde mi ventana", in Altea.

After the success of "Tiempo de cámara" last summer in Altea, I returned to Ca Joan to capture some of the most beautiful landscapes in Costa Blanca. This permanent collection is a selection of large-format open edition photographs, printed using a ceramic thermo-sublimation system of mineral pigments on an aluminum surface.

From the archives: Winter in New York

The historic snowstorm that engulfed the city of Madrid reminded me of my home in New York, where the city's more frequent winter storms, blanket the Big Apple with the same force of nature.

I continue working daily on an exciting new collection comprised of intimate portraits of "my people", in which I have collaborated with friends and extraordinary personalities that have allowed me to transmit their lives through my lens.

The collection will feature a selection of 17 portraits that will be released this spring/summer.
