Weekly Message from Principal Nies
Happy Thursday Magee Families:

It was a busy week this week. We launched our One School, One Book Wednesday with some academy award winning acting by Mrs. Wepfer, Mrs. Woyahn, Mr. Suhr, Mrs. Coss, and Mr. Nies. We hope you and your family will enjoy the book this year, "Kenny and the Dragon". We look forward to our annual tradition of Field Day, which will have a renaissance faire theme this year to align with "Kenny and the Dragon". Mr. Staver is working on the preparation of Field Day!

Today, we enjoyed science day. Thank you Mr. Suhr for organizing such a special day. Also, thank you to the PTO for sponsoring our guest speakers. We had visitors from Retzer Nature Center, Oceans of Fun, Inc., Wonders of Physics from UW, Hopkins Farm brought a cow, and Waukesha County came to talk to us about soil health and composting. A science day video will be available for you to view next week.

Today, Mr. Niester (Neaster) Bunny made an appearance on Thursday. The learners absolutely loved it and we got some great laughs out of parents and staff as well. Who knows when Mr. Niester Bunny will show up again!

One last note. The Milwaukee Public Television segment including Magee will air on Thursday, May 5th at 7 PM. This will air on Milwaukee PBS Channel 10 on the show 10Thirty six.

We hope that you enjoy the next four days. Remember, there is no school on Friday, April 15th, and Monday, April 18th. We look forward to seeing everyone back here on Tuesday, April 19th.

Take Care and Be Well:
Justin S. Nies and the Magee Team
