THANK YOU!
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the changing Covid landscape. The new Covid options for asymptomatic people from the county were shared this week. Please do not hesitate to reachout to our nursing staff with any questions, we are here to help!

Message From Mr. Staver
Hello Magee Friends,

Since we are in the winter season, I just wanted to reach out and let you know that we will be continuing to go outside on various days in Physical Education class. Please make sure that your child comes to school with the proper attire to stay warm while working on our winter activities.

We are grateful for the Magee PTO who have supplied us with snowshoes and can’t wait to use them. We also have purchased some sleds to stay active outside on these winter days. If you choose to have your child bring a bike helmet to wear for sledding feel free to send to school and be stored in their personal bin. I will not be able to give specific dates ahead of time for when we will be doing these activities due to the snowfall amount on your scheduled PE week, but I will tell your child on Monday when they have PE class our expected plan for their week.

If you DO NOT want your child to participate in these activities, please reach out to Mr. Staver to let him know. staverj@kmsd.edu

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Stay safe and stay active!!
Mr. Staver

What?
My Child is Quarantined?

When learners or a classroom are sent home to quarantine, this means they need to stay home, not go in public places, gymnastics, basketball, restaurants, playdates/sleepovers with classmates, visit extended family, etc.

Symptoms can develop ANYTIME within the 14 days or the learner can be asymptomatic and spread the virus without knowing it.

If learners develop symptoms while in quarantine, please contact your health care provider AND please notify Magee as soon as possible.
WISCONSIN WEATHER

Please help your children layer for the unpredictable
Wisconsin weather at this time of the year!

WHEN students leave home and the outdoor temperature is less than 50, they should be wearing something that covers their legs - leggings, pants, jeans, shorts/skirts with tights or leggings AND have AT LEAST two layers to wear outside. Hats and gloves are also important to send with your child.

Students are outside for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. In the event of a drill or emergency, students need to have enough clothing to be warm outside. It is easy to tie layers around their waist as opposed to being cold without enough to put on.

Thank you for your support!!
