Magen David Adom in Israel has been on high alert since the start of "Operation Breaking Dawn". There have been multiple Red Alert sirens across Israel beginning at around (16:00) 4pm Friday, just moments before the start of Shabbat in Israel and during Tisha BeAv; a National day of mourning and fasting commemorating various tragedies that befell the Jewish people throughout history.

MDA teams, EMTs, Paramedics, Dispatch Staff, Logistics and the Blood Services remain fully manned throughout this latest escalation in violence, and are providing a response wherever and whenever required. All vehicles are currently being utilized, there has also been a call-up for reservists, and our first responders are using specialized vehicles.
