President Obama at Lincoln
Last Friday, President Obama dined at Lincoln Restaurant DC, an O'Neill Studios project that we are incredibly proud of. From the custom mirrors and light fixtures to the amazing wall installations and the famous penny floor, O'Neill Studios had a hand in every aspect of the space. The President sat in the main dining room in front of Maggie's custom portraits of Lincoln and had a burger. Maggie had the distinct honor to meet the President, discuss the restaurant's design, including the penny floor, assuring him it was hand-made by our team! Finally, Maggie presented the President with a portrait she had created for his visit, which as evident in this photo, he seemed fairly excited about!

Custom Cherry Blossom Wallpaper
Maggie was commissioned by DAC Hospitality in Atlanta GA to paint a custom cherry blossom painting to be fabricated into wallpaper and installed into the new lobby of the Capitol Hill Hotel Washington D.C., located at 200 C St. SE. Previously named Capitol Hill Suites, Capitol Hill Hotel Washington D.C. has just completed a 3.7 million dollar renovation and has been renamed to illuminate the hotel's more sophisticated design. We are so pleased Maggie's custom wallpaper is featured in their new upscale decor. This was the first run of custom wallpaper by Maggie O'Neill and there are many more exciting projects on the horizon. CAPITALE featured in DC Modern Luxury
Maggie and O'Neill Studios were hired by the owners of the long lived K street Lounge to work with the architects of Studio 3877 (Dave Shove Brown and David Tracz) and Masterbuilt (Dario Davies) to transform the former ultra modern club in to a new kind of "club." Scheduled to open this summer, CAPITALE will feature a comfortable and clever juxtaposition of traditional elements found in the stuffiest country clubs along with a Hollywood Regency funk.
