Maglev Community Forum on Tuesday! As you may know, Maglev is a high-speed, super conducting train which would travel between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, through Prince George's County with no stop in Prince George's County. The proponents estimate 32% of MARC commuters and 94% of annual Amtrak riders will shift to this new service and pay an estimated $60 each way for the service.
 
Nearly 200 properties in District 3 are directly affected by noise or vibrations. Your voice is crucial to stopping this project.

Select Recreation Facilities and Activities Reopening Mar. 29
The Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County is reopening select facilities starting Monday, March 29, to provide the community more activities to live more play more. Registration for these offerings will begin on Thursday, March 25 throughpgparksdirect.com.

COVID-19 Funeral Expense Assistance
Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA will provide financial assistance for COVID-19-related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020.
