Interview with President of RCVB Board of Directors, Ken Davis

What is the purpose of the Roswell Convention & Visitors Bureau?
To serve as a destination marketing organization for the city of Roswell; to increase economic impact to the Roswell community through tourism.

How does the RCVB benefit Roswell's local economy?
From July 2016 - June 2017, the economic impact of tourism in Roswell was over $115 million. This represented direct spending only.  Economist Rupa DeLoach's study showed that for every $1 the Roswell Convention & Visitors Bureau invests in marketing and advertising, $257.36 is spent in the City of Roswell as a direct result.

What are Roswell's unique assets to Georgia's tourism industry?
Roswell is fortunate to have a strong blend of history, nature, arts and culture. Studies show that all three of those components are very attractive to travelers as well as to the quality of life for our residents and local business community.  Over the next year our lodging industry will be stronger than ever with new product opening. Roswell's craft breweries are another component of our tourism options.  We feel the "spirits" industry will continue to grow, attracting more and more visitors to Roswell.

How can Mimosa Hall help amplify and grow Roswell's existing historic assets?
Mimosa Hall has many possibilities due to the history of the house itself as well as the planned restoration of the Neel Reid gardens.  With many options and feasibilities to consider, Mayor and Council have the difficult job of determining how Mimosa Hall and its grounds will be used. Our CVB is here to give input and to market and promote it as an asset for the tourism program in Roswell.
