Maguire University Traveling Team 2025

Thursday April 3rd - Tuesday April 8th 2025

The Maguire University Jollymen will be making their 62nd appearance (1963-2025) at the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament this April 3rd through April 8th.

The #1 seed Maguire University Jollymen have dominated the competition this season and look forward to another outstanding tournament.

The Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk will host the Maguire University Traveling Team for the fifth (5th) time over the years.

Breakfast is included for all traveling team members everyday from 6:30 AM until 9:30 AM weekdays and 10:00 AM weekends.

Happy Hour is included for all team members everyday from 5:30 PM-&:30 PM. Soda/soft drinks/pop and popcorn is available all day everyday in the lobby.

Our host DJ Moore (HOF-2016) has put together an outstanding evening of Maguire U teammates, many laughs, very good friends, with outstanding food drinks and stories for us to enjoy.

Budget a $100 per person for the evening.

The Maguire University Hospitality Suite will open at 2:00 PM on Friday afternoon April 4th. Please if you are not on the set-up committee wait until 2:00 PM to register/check-in.

The Maguire University Hospitality Suite will be closed daily from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM so the bartender/wait staff can take their dinner break. During that time the Drury Hotel Happy Hour will be open to accommodate you and your liquor/beer needs.

Suite Rules

#1. Drinks/Beer = 1 Chip. Each traveling team member receives twenty (20) chips for the weekend. If you need additional chips see Eileen Duffy.

#2. No Smoking in the suite.

#3. Please clean up after yourselves and the group you are sitting with. Please show respect for yourselves, others, The Drury Plaza Hotel and especially Maguire University.

We the Board of Regents and Chancellor of Maguire University don't require or request a lot from our traveling team over the years. The item/event we are asking is that you arrange your schedule so ALL/EVERYONE attends the Maguire University Team Picture, Meeting and Graduation.

The Annual Runyon's NYC Final Four Reception San Antonio 2025 is happening again. After a little rest the Runyon's Social Committee is bringing 'The Coach's Party' back to San Antonio for the 2025 Tournament.
