Gifts in the Spotlight

The Lumos Knitting Light is specifically designed to save you from eye strain with a special design for ergonomics. It is featherweight light and fits snugly around your neck freeing up your hands. It has a built-in soft light mode and is super flexible allowing you to position and focus it exactly where you want by avoiding shadows cast by your fingers or hooks. Mine has been a life saver during power outages and when working with dark yarn!

The Allstitch Studio Flower Marker Box Set is a complete set of Flower Stitch Markers, all stored away in an adorable sliding drawer box. It includes 80 stitch markers in a variety of sizes and colors and a signature flower design. Use them for knitting in the round, indicating pattern changes, counting stitches, and more.

Both of these items are on the side table next to where I knit and I use them on a daily basis!

New Project Bags from Maika

I'm so excited to add a new choice for your next favorite project bag. The Maika Lunch Tote is a stylish solution for yarn storage on-the-go! They are crafted from robust cotton canvas, and their unique square design ensures ample space for your WIPs. It's the perfect size for small to medium projects and is beautifully roomy with comfortable handles and an inside pocket for keys, small knitting accessories, etc.

Maika is a female-owned business and each bag is thoughtfully designed in Oakland, CA.

Gnomes and Granny Squares

For all of you gnome lovers, The Gnomes of Grimblewood is a treat for you! In this book, you can dive into the heart of Grimblewood with patterns for 8 captivating gnomes. Stephanie created Gnola to display in the shop. I recommend using Kinsale yarn to get the tweedy look.

And if you missed them last time, the Granny Square Card Decks are back!  This card deck of 50 gorgeous granny squares will help you create successful design combinations every time you pick up your hook.

New Yarns and Samples from Wool Addicts

Wool Addicts recently launched a few new yarns: Move 8PLY and Desire. I finally got a chance to work with these yarns to create these perfect autmn/winter staple pieces and am in love with both!

Move 8PLY is a worsted weight extrafine Superwash Merino Wool/Nylon blend that transforms your knitting and crocheting projects into a kaleidoscope of colors, infusing energy and excitement into every stitch. And each 150 gram contains 328 yards! I used 4 balls (with enough left to make a headband) to knit the Movementum pullover.

Desire is a voluminous, light, and airy super bulky yarn in a Mohair/Wool blend. It's the perfect yarn to craft the coziest accessories and garments in no time...like the Evergreen Tonic Vest. I used 3 balls to knit my vest.

Both yarns are available in a stunning palette of happy colors!
