Mail Ballots Sent for the March 17 Presidential Preference Primary Election
Marion County, FL. February 11 - The Supervisor of Elections began mailing domestic ballots today for the 2020 Presidential Preference Primary Election. The initial mailing includes nearly 40,000 ballots sent to voters with a request on file. About two weeks earlier, 405 UOCAVA ballots were sent to military and overseas voters.

Additional mail ballot requests will be fulfilled as received. The deadline to request a mail ballot for the Presidential Preference Primary Election is March 7. To request or track your mail ballot, visit www.VoteMarion.Gov or call 352-620-3290.

Mail ballots are non-forwardable and are sent to the voter’s current mailing address on file, unless specified otherwise. The United States Postal Service encourages voters to mail back their voted ballots early to ensure timely receipt by Election Day.

Voted mail ballots may also now be dropped off at any open Early Voting site or to the 24/7 ballot drop box outside the Marion County Election Center. Mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
