Marion County, FL. August 13 -
The Supervisor of Elections began mailing domestic ballots to nearly 7,000 eligible voters with requests for the September 17, 2019 City of Ocala General Election. Military and overseas ballots were sent to 123 voters on August 2, 2019.
Additional mail ballot requests will be fulfilled as received. The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed for the City of Ocala Election is September 7, 2019. To request or track your mail ballot, visit VoteMarion.com or call 352-620-3290.
Mail ballots are non-forwardable and are sent to the voter’s current mailing address on file, unless specified otherwise. The United States Postal Service encourages voters to mail back their voted ballots early to ensure timely receipt by Election Day.
Voted mail ballots can also be dropped off to the secure ballot drop box located outside our office that is available 24/7, or inside our office during normal business hours. Mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
