Corporate Compliance Training Deadline!

All Maimonides Health employees must complete the annual Corporate Compliance Training by Friday, Sept. 30. There are a few ways to access the training:

For MMC:

Go to MMC SharePoint and click the HealthStream icon
Use the link in the HealthStream email sent to your Maimonides email address

For MMCH:

Go to MMCH Intranet or Extranet.
Use the link to MMC Mandatory Ed and follow instructions

Walk Across Asia Registration Is Now Open to MMC Employees !

Ready for your next fitness challenge? Register your team now!

From Oct. 3 - Nov. 3, your team of six walkers will get to Asia. The goal? Six destinations and two million steps.

Teams of six that reach all Walk Across

Asia destinations will be entered into

a raffle for a grand prize of $5,000 per

team member.

Breast Center Brings Screening Awareness to Famous Festival

Members of the Maimonides Breast Center took to the crowded streets of the 45th Annual Brighton Jubilee to spread awareness about the importance of breast cancer screenings. They sure had a large audience — the beloved Brighton Beach street festival attracts more than 125,000 people every year!

Join us Saturday, Sept. 24 for a motorcycle ride through the streets of Brooklyn in support of breast cancer awareness, treatment and research at the award-winning Maimonides Breast Center.

Registration is $25 and begins at 10 a.m. at the Maimonides Breast Center: 745 64th St. Brooklyn, NY

Kickstands up at noon sharp for a scenic ride from the Breast Center to Maimonides Park in Coney Island

This Class Will Keep You From Falling Like a Leaf

This Fall!

Did you know Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is one of the best things you can do to prevent falls?

The Brooklyn Public Library is hosting a free virtual program that will improve your strength, balance and coordination in just eight weeks! Taught by Team Maimo's own Gia Ramsey, the program also supports mental health and eases joint pain.

The program will run from Sept.13 to Nov. 2, with sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon.
