Flu and COVID-19 Vaccines for Staff

Free flu and COVID-19 vaccines are now available to all Maimonides staff at Employee Health Services. Walk-ins are accepted Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am to 2:30pm and Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00am to 5:30pm. Just be sure to bring your Maimonides ID card and vaccine card (or digital card)!

Every year from October 6 to 12, we celebrate Physician Assistant Week to recognize Maimonides' awesome PAs and their enormous contributions to our patients' health. So if you see one of our highly trained and dedicated PAs this week, show them some love!

Know the Stroke Code

It could save a life. If a patient shows signs of a stroke, get help immediately. Call 33 and ask the operator to activate the Stroke Code. Give them your exact location, your name and a call-back number. Stay at the phone until the Stroke Team calls back. Remember: Dial 33 for all in-hospital emergencies!

Make Strides Against Breast Cancer

Join your Maimonides Colleagues and Making Strides of Brooklyn for the 20th Annual Making Strides of Brooklyn walk to raise awareness about breast cancer and funds to help those affected by the disease. The more people who join the movement to end breast cancer, the more hope we have for a breast cancer-free future. The walk kicks off at Coney Island Boardwalk and Maimonides Park at 8:00am. Breakthrough Prostate Cancer Treatment

Maimonides is proud to be the first cancer program in Brooklyn to introduce PLUVICTO, a new option for patients who have not responded to other treatments. Prostate cancer is the second most common form of cancer among men in New York City.
