The Main Street Program along with Visit Bastrop would like to encourage you to submit for the Texas Travel Awards. This is an opportunity for you to be recognized and celebrated among some of the top travel destinations and attractions across the Lone Star State.

Submissions for the second annual Texas Travel Awards are now open! See the call for entries here for the full details and list of this year's categories.

Cole, a boy with a chemical imbalance which renders him unable to be sad or angry, changes everyone around him. The story is told from the perspective of a Vietnam veteran, who is the grumpy old man of the neighborhood. His main pleasure in life is yelling at kids from his front porch. Looking for something the entire family can do together? Join the City of Bastrop Recreation at Family Fun Night on March 15th from 6:00pm until 7:30pm at the Recreation Center (1008 Water Street). Its free to participate.
