Service Highlight
Jessica Anderson grew up on Drummond Island. After high school she went to North Central Michigan College. After a couple of years she took a break and did the Disney College Program at the Magic Kingdom. She said that during that time she sewed names on mouse ears and also made fudge. She finished college at Lake Superior State with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Public Relations.

Jessica has worked at Castle Farms for the last 7 years and is currently the Gift Shop and Group Tours Director. She's had a very busy year as she moved into a new home in Charlevoix and had a beautiful baby girl named Abagail.

Jessica has been involved in Main Street since its inception. She currently serves on the Promotions Team as the secretary. She also volunteers for the Live From Charlevoix events and Shadowfest. We're so thankful for all the time she dedicates to these teams!

Facade Grants
Applications are due May 20th!

The Facade Incentive Program, which helped to improve multiple downtown buildings by providing funding last year, is developed by the Design Committee of Charlevoix Main Street.

The grant program was created to encourage private investment in historic facades by providing financial incentives. Historically sensitive rehabilitation and dramatic improvement of facades in downtown Charlevoix will encourage good design that will serve as quality examples to preserve the architectural character that is distinctive to Charlevoix. By improving the appearance of the building facades, the Program helps to improve the economic vitality of the downtown.

Click here for more information on projects completed in 2017 & 2018 or to apply for your building.
Much More
The accomplishments mentioned earlier are only a few of the exciting things Main Street has been working on.

Click here or on the infographic to the right for program highlights and accomplishments over the past three years. Note that the private investment statistics are simply numbers we track, not numbers we claim responsibility for!
