Key to the Downtown District Recognition Presentations

Historic Downtown Perry is rolling out the red carpet for our business community with a new way to celebrate milestones!

The Keys to the Downtown District program is a special welcome and recognition ceremony for new businesses, expansions, new locations, anniversaries, and other special occasions within the Downtown District.

Rather than a traditional ribbon cutting, this celebration includes the presentation of a ceremonial key—symbolizing your valued place in our thriving downtown. It's our way of saying thank you for choosing to invest in Perry and be part of what makes our community so special.

Business can self-submit for a Key to the Downtown District to highlight a celebration or achievement.

So far, we have recognized Clover Wine Merchant, Landmark Realty, Sole Shoe Co., Trattoria di Napoli, the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce, and Sweet Evelyn's.

On November 6 at 3pm, we will be recognizing Mossy Creek Natural for 10 years in Downtown Perry!

Our history is full of resilience, celebration, and community, and it’s thanks to our incredible citizens—past and present—that we’re able to continue this tradition.

Holiday Shop Late | December 11

We've seen growing success in seasonal shop late evenings in support of retail shopping and restaurant drink specials! For the Christmas Season, on Thursday, December 11, we will have a Holiday Shop Late evening. This will be on the last night of the holiday trolley tours so there already will be additional people downtown.

Join us for a Winter Wonderland in Historic Downtown Perry on Saturday, December 13 from 12pm - 4pm! While shopping local, families and kids can participate in activities such as ornament decorating and writing letters to Santa. In between shop visits and lunch, take a ride on the trackless train as it takes laps around the City Hall square. Enjoy a magical Saturday afternoon in Historic Downtown Perry!

This Second Saturday Artisan Showcase is a pop-up expansion of the weekly Perry Farmers Market! The showcase will create a special place and opportunity for the community in Downtown Perry by activating more of downtown during the busiest season in Historic Downtown Perry. You will be able to find handmade crafts, gifts, and baked goods.

Vendors have already been selected.
