Downtown Happenings
Officially Open: New & Improved Eastern Entrance to Richmond BART Station
Improvements include redesigned and upgraded the access for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles at the Eastern entrance to the Richmond BART Station. A ribbon cutting for the completion of this project, known as Richmond Transit Village - Phase II, was held on December 18, 2017.

The LifeLong Immediate/Urgent Care Center provides medical care for people regardless of insurance status, with no appointment needed,  and can be a valuable resource for adults and children of all ages, suffering from aliments like a sore throat, the flu, ear infection, or sprained ankle.

offering same-day care for urgent medical needs
Where: 2023 Vale Road, San Pablo  
Hours: Monday - Friday, 10am to 8pm; Saturday & Sunday 9am - 5pm
Who: Local residents, especially those on Medi-Cal or without insurance, with urgent medical needs.
What: Same-day medical care for adults and children, lab tests, HIV testing, and adult vaccines No appointments or referrals are needed.
