Things are really picking up on Main Street! Despite the snow this week, we are already in "summer-mode" planning more exciting improvements in Zaitz Park, getting ready for Flower Box Season, Community Clean-Up and much more!

As we gear up for a busy summer season, please reach out to us with your ideas, comments and suggestions - we are here as a resource!

There are only a couple of Planter Box Sponsorships left! Businesses and individuals are invited to participate and we are pleased to share that 2021 sponsorships are available at the same cost as last year - $85.00! Please join us this year and put your name in front of others with laminated inserts on each box that will be filled with pops of color during the summer season.

The Planter Box Sponsorship may seem like a small step, but it does play a role in making downtown an attractive place to do business or just relax. Your efforts to help us make improvements to the Main Street are noticed and very much appreciated.

To celebrate historic downtowns during Historic Preservation Month (May), the Colorado Department of Local Affairs Main Streets Program is launching a campaign to hear from residents and visitors about the spaces that matter most in our state's Main Street communities - which includes Leadville!

Let's show our Leadville spirit and brag about or amazing historic places and spaces downtown!

2021 Community Clean Up Day - June 12!

How You Can Help...

First, please RSVP so that we may keep a headcount of volunteers and needed supplies. Scan the QR Code on the flyer, register via the link below, or call one of the contact numbers on the flyer to RSVP. On June 12th, we’ll be picking up trash, weeding planters, and more. Trash bags, vests and gloves can be picked up at the Volunteer table at the Lake County Courthouse lawn, 505 Harrison Avenue, beginning 9am. Thank you for wearing a face covering and following social distancing guidelines. See you there!

Downtown Parking Assessment - FINAL SURVEY!

Please help us by taking a final survey for the parking assessment and parking needs for downtown Leadville. This is a follow-up survey to the earlier survey circulating in March and April of 2021.

The deadline for this submission is 5/28/2021. Hard copies of this survey are available at City Hall and a drop box is located at the front desk in the main hallway of the City Hall building to bring these hard copies back.

Climber Loan Fund

The CLIMBER (Colorado Loans to Increase Mainstreet Business Economic Recovery) Loan Fund is a statewide program that will provide up to $250 million in working capital loans to Colorado small businesses through 2023. It will promote small businesses recovery, save jobs, and help support the Colorado economy.
