Hardcover. First Edition. First Printing. 450 pp. 8vo. Light wear and scuffing to dust jacket, small crease at upper left corner of rear flap, recto of dust jacket has light spotting. Red paper covered boards with light brown cloth spine. Endpapers have light foxing front and rear, heavy spotting along foredge of text block, light spotting to head and foot of text block. Tipped in is the auction donation form from a local library fundraiser to which Stephen King donated the book.

Stephen King wrote 3 novels under the pen name Richard Bachman before being "discovered" as the true author in 1984. The seventh of eight books in under the Bachman name it is signed as both Bachman and King on the title page
