Dear Friends,

We have a new look! Thanks to our long-time communications and marketing partner, Lorraine-Gregory Corporation, we have updated our logo and marketing materials, and it is being launched with this newsletter. Greg Demetriou of Lorraine-Gregory has been our newsletter publisher and marketing guru for over 20 years, and it was only natural that we would turn to his design team for the new look. We love it. Thank you, Greg and Lorraine!

It was a little difficult to give up a logo that has served us well for 30 years, and daunting when we realized everything that would have to be changed - over 120 publication reprints, signs throughout Long Island, company shirts, brochures, websites, and the list goes on. So bear with us during the process. We hope to have it all done by the end of the year.

This month's article is Managing Your Property Like a Professional. Many companies cannot afford to have a full-time facilities director. If you are one of them, this article outlines a common-sense approach to setting up the systems and procedures that professional property managers use. And speaking of which, as we approach the winter season, now is the time to be working through a fall checklist: Roof inspection, draining underground sprinkler systems, caulking inspections, pavement repair and the like.
