Today, I would like to talk to you about your "system", your amazing "system" that heats and cools your home.
Your "system" operates in excess of 3,000 hours per year. Sometimes, in severe weather, it will run for 72 hours without cutting off. You probably don't pay much attention to your "system" unless it stops operating one day when it is 95 degrees outside.
As a comparison, if you drove your car 3,000 hours a year at just 40 miles per hour, that would be 120,000 miles per year! That's a lot of miles!
If you changed your oil every 5,000 miles, you would be at Jiffy Lube every 14 days! With tires, fluids, belts, breaks, shocks and everything else, you would spend in excess of $4,000 every year maintaining your car. Not to mention the time you would spend waiting in the repair shop.
You don't expect your car to operate without maintenance and you certainly shouldn't expect your heating and cooling "system" to either.
Considering all of this, don't you think it would be wise to spend $17.00 per month to properly maintain your "system"? Don't you want your "system" to run efficiently for 10 to 12 years? That would be like putting 1,500,000 miles on your car! That is why I say your "system" is amazing.
