Dear Majestic Owners,

Spring is now upon. We hope you take time this holiday weekend to enjoy time spent with family and friends. In the coming week the Association will begin a couple of different improvement projects that are aimed to finalize a number of hurricane related repairs. Our goal is to complete these projects prior to the peak of summer rentals which begins with Memorial Day Weekend. Below you will find details on each of the projects. We ask that you please share this information with your rental management company and guests. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, as we continually work to make Majestic Beach Resort the premiere destination on Panama City Beach.

Thank you,

Paul Shamblin, CMCA, AMS
Association Manager

Sky Bridge Carpet: As part of both, the hurricane repairs and improvement projects, the Association is scheduled to begin the carpet replacement on the third floor of the Amenities Building, including both pedestrian sky bridges. Beginning Monday, April 22nd installation crews from Southern Carpet will replace the Tower 1 sky bridge carpet, including the hall leading past the Fitness Room down to the Amenities Lobby. The Tower 1 sky bridge will be closed while the replacement is taking place. Signs will be posted directing guests to use the Tower 2 sky bridge to cross Front Beach Road. The areas mentioned above will be completed by Thursday and will fully reopen by Thursday afternoon. Then on Monday, April 29th, the Tower 2 sky bridge will be closed while the new carpet is installed. The bridge should reopen by Wednesday, May 1st. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your guests. Please be sure to share this information with all guests and/or management companies.
Majestic Paint Project: As you know, the Association embarked on a massive painting project this past fall which is now nearing completion. The painting project covered both Tower 1 and Tower 2, exterior walls, ceilings, doors, and decks. Additionally, the Amenities Building was completely painted. Valcourt Building Services are currently working on the punch list but should be completed within the next few weeks.

Then on Monday, May 6th the next phase of the painting project will begin as both the pedestrian bridges will be completely painted on the exterior. This will include rust abatement and prep. The project is scheduled to last approximately 10 days.
CRA Project: For the past two years Front Beach Road has been undergoing a drastic change. As you can see from the photo below, progress with the CRA project is moving steadily ahead. This past week crews have now completed all the underground storm and water utilities, both lanes now have asphalt, and curbs have been poured. Still ahead, sidewalks and landscaping, power will move underground, and new street lighting. The City of Panama City Beach is still aiming for an end of May completion time frame. What an improvement this will be to go along with the recently completed paint project at Majestic.
Thunder Beach: It is that time of year coming up once again as the annual migration and loud roar of Thunder Beach Spring Rally takes place. This years event will take place from May 1st - 5th. As we do each year, we will designate parking on the ground floor of the Parking Garage to accommodate motorcycle parking. We will also reserve Valet Parking beneath the Amenities Building for trailer parking on a first come first serve basis. Security will provide special parking passes for all motorcycles and trailers.
