This week we experienced a maintenance issue with the #2 (west end) elevator in Tower 1. Kone, our elevator service company, responded to the property and discovered that a protective shield for the hoist way cables came loose and damage a couple of the operating cables. Both the shield and damaged cables will need to be replaced. The good news is that the parts are covered under our service contract. The bad news is that the protect shield will take approximately 4-6 weeks before it will be repaired, as the part is customized and will need to be manufactured. The remaining three elevators in Tower 1 and all elevators in Tower 2 are fully functioning. Please make your guests aware, as signs are posted.
