Good Morning,

While we have had some weather delays over the past week, the painting project is nearing completion on both Tower 1 and Tower 2. Over the next few weeks, barring further weather delays, crews will wrap up the south balcony painting. Afterwards, crews will focus on punch items on both towers.

Beginning this Saturday, February 23rd, Valcourt will begin the final phase of the overall project, which will include the Amenities Building on the north side of Front Beach Road. The first step in this project will include waterproofing the 3rd floor loading/unloading parking area, just outside the Amenities Building Lobby doors. Beginning Saturday morning, February 23rd, this area will be closed to vehicular traffic in order to prep the deck for waterproofing. During the prep, the deck will still be open to foot traffic, between the Amenities Building and Parking Garage.

However, beginning on Tuesday, February 26th through Thursday, February 28th, there will be NO ACCESS while the waterproof coating is being applied. Similar to the tower walkways and balconies, this is a waterproof coating that is designed to protect the concrete deck. Between February 26th through February 28th, access to the Parking Garage will have to be from the ground level.

On Friday, March 1st, the deck will once again open to foot traffic and will open completely on Sunday, March 3rd to vehicular traffic

February 23rd - 25th: Closed to Vehicular Traffic
February 26th - 28th: Closed to Vehicular & Foot Traffic
March 1st - 2nd: Closed to Vehicular Traffic

As with the entire painting project, these dates are subject to change due to weather delays.
