Endorse Odette Ramos for City Council, District 14

The powerful unions 1199SEIU representing health care workers across the state, and SEIU32BJ representing airport workers, security, and other property services, have endorsed Odette Ramos for City Council. "I am humbled and honored to have their support. They work hard every day to increase wages and enhance working conditions for workers across the state. Progressive Maryland promotes social, economic, and racial justice through organizing and advocacy. Working Families is a group of workers coming together to make our nation work for the many, not the few. "I am honored to receive this endorsement and look forward to working with Progressive Maryland and the Working Families Party to continue the fight for economic justice through my efforts around increasing the minimum wage, equal pay, affordable housing and more," stated Odette Ramos. February 11: TONIGHT! Remington Neighborhood Alliance hosts a Candidates Forum for candidates in Districts 12 and 14. It takes place at the GreenMount School on 501 W. 30th Street in Remington at 7pm.

February 19: Greater Remington Improvement Association hosts a Candidates Forum for candidates in Districts 12 and 14. It takes place at the Church of the Guardian Angel, 2629 Huntingdon Avenue at 7pm. Details here.
