Greetings!
Asphalt overlay projects
Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack's office is milling and overlaying roads as part of its annual street maintenance program. Roads being repaired at this time include :

  • Pine Canyon Drive
  • Gresak Street
  • Barwood Court
  • Chaparral Way
  • Olde Lantern Way
  • Spring Creek Drive (Roaming Woods to Bristlecone Trail)
  • Timber Lakes Drive (Dawnwood to Roaring Creek)
  • McDonald Road

Overlay and pavement repair projects are scheduled for other areas soon.
Striping projects
Precinct 3 is restriping many of the major corridors in The Woodlands, currently focusing on the restriping of the curbs, skips, pavement markings, stop bars and cat tracks along Grogan's Mill Road from Sawdust to Research Forest Drive. This pavement marking project is crucial to maintaining safety for motorists.
Road Projects
Crews along Rayford Road are making major progress! Now that two westbound lanes are open on the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad, crews are able to begin completing the eastbound lanes on the bridge. Once all work on the bridge is complete, there will be three lanes in each direction.
  • Crews are working on completing the final drainage pipe installation between Fox Run and the Grand Parkway as well as installing curb and gutter along the same stretch.
  • The contractor has been drilling and pouring concrete foundations for the new traffic signals that will be installed at intersections along the project.(pictured above)
Alternating Lane Closures as Needed:

  • Eastbound and westbound temporary lane closures will occur Monday through Saturday, as needed, from Richards Road to the Grand Parkway for the duration of the project.

Thank you for your patience while construction crews continue to work as quickly and safely as possible. We recognize that construction can cause inconveniences, and we appreciate your understanding during this process. Please follow all road signs, pay attention to barriers and watch for crew members in the right of way.

Plan ahead, stay alert and drive safely!
