Food Handling Trainings
Since January 2020 the Workforce Development department had 30 people take the ServSafe Food Handler Certificate Training Exam and 54 people take the ServSafe Manager Certificate Training Exam. We have been able to pay for all tests (and retests) for our community members through our PepsiCo Foundation Grant Programming, which is a total of $12,172 – these trainings are required to work in the food and beverage industry and has allowed our community members to either enter the industry or remain in the industry with helping pay for recertifications.
