SBIF + Sidewalk Shared Cost Program
|
|
The Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) helps industrial and commercial businesses in Chicago by providing financial reimbursement for building improvement costs. SBIF grants provide up to $150,000 in matching funds for permanent improvements to buildings within the Kinzie Corridor TIF district. The application deadline is February 8th at 5:00 PM CST.

The Shared Cost Sidewalk Program is an extremely popular voluntary program in which property owners share 50% of the cost of sidewalk repair with the City of Chicago. The application opened Monday, January 11th at 6 AM. All applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are allocated.
