The wait is over… the Creekwood Splash Pad is officially OPEN for the season!
Cool off all summer long with interactive water fountains, water cannons, and the giant tipping bucket at one of Perry’s favorite warm-weather spots. Families can also enjoy shaded seating, picnic areas, and a nearby pavilion.

Open daily from May 23 through September 7, 2026.

Lyn McDonald Appointed As City of Perry Finance Director
The City of Perry has appointed Lyn McDonald as Finance Director, bringing extensive financial leadership experience in the technology, manufacturing, and banking sectors.

Registration is now open for Perry Leisure Services Fall Sports 2026!
Youth can sign up for a variety of programs, including soccer, cheer, tackle football, and flag football.
Registration runs through July 1, so be sure to secure your spot early.

The Perry Water Battle Returns This Month
We invite the young and young at heart to join us in an epic water battle at Rozar Park (1060 Keith Drive) on June 27 from 10 AM – noon!
With dueling fire trucks, water slides, water balloons, toddler wading pools, and more, this is sure to be one super soaked Saturday the whole family will enjoy!
We recommend the following:
- Wear comfortable waterproof clothing
- Wear water socks or comfortable waterproof shoes
- Bring your own water toys
- Bring sunscreen and bottled water
- Bring towels and/or outdoor chairs for seating

Sign Up For Stormwater Bingo!
Kids ages 8–10 are invited to join us for Stormwater Bingo on June 17 from 1:00–2:00 p.m. at the Rozar Park Multipurpose Room (1060 Keith Drive)!
Through an interactive bingo-style game, children will learn how stormwater impacts their community and discover simple ways they can help protect local waterways.
This free program offers a way to combine learning and play while building environmental awareness!

April 2026 Perry Fire & Emergency Services Stats
The City of Perry Fire & Emergency Services Department received a total of 328 calls during the month of April in 2026.
The Perry Fire Department is a 2-station department that contains a staff of firefighters providing fire protection, emergency medical services, technical rescue operations, fire safety education, fire cause investigation, and fire code inspections to a population of over 26,000 across 27.9 square miles.
