Incorrect alignments sets you up for failure before you even hit the shot. PLAYers need to practice alignment as much as any other golf fundamental. Right-handers have a tendency to aim too far to the right, which leads to pulling the club across the ball. Left-handers have the same problem but in the other direction. Good PLAYers condition themselves to avoid aiming too far in the direction of their dominant hand. It seems weird to aim your feet away from the target, but remember that your club is
on the same line as your feet. Think of railroad tracks when practicing your alignment, and you will become more consistent over time with all of your shots.
