MAKE UP TUESDAY CLASSES

Below you will find a list of class make up times from our cancelation on Tuesday, April 18th. We are asking for an rsvp if your dancer will or will not be attending. This way we can adjust class times, if needed.

STUDIO REMINDERS

Class Reminders:

• Dancers need to bring their proper shoes for recital to class.
• Anyone using tennis shoes for a routine - DO NOT wear tennis shoes to the studio, we need to keep them clean and free of any debris in the sole! Dirty shoes are not good for the dance floor or other dancers.
• Please be sure to have their hair up off their face in a pony, braid, bun, etc. whatever is easy for you for class. When their hair is down the dancers tend to touch or play with it. 
• No denim or skirts. We want the dancers to move freely, so clothing examples: tank tops, shorts, leotards, leggings, tights, sports bras, etc. Are perfect for class. 

Water and Snacks:

• The weather is heating up, so we do recommend water! Dancers can buy a water from the office, or have it charged to their account. Dancers can refill their own bottle in the hallway. We will not be providing cups for water.
• We have more snacks available for purchase in the office! We know many students attend right after school, so we are trying to provide more options for a quick snack. All snacks are $1. Which can be charged to your account. 

Hallway:

• Please help us by keeping the hallway picked up. If you have trash, please put it int he proper places. If you see trash please pick it up and place in the trash.

All students will have their final class at the LCMS Auditorium.

Class times will vary from their regular class time.

All students are required to attend Dress Rehearsal.

Full Performance Makeup, Hair, Costume, Tights, and Accessories Required. Parents are required to stay with students ages 12 and under.

Attendance And Make Ups

PLEASE NOTE: When dancers are making up absences they will need to wear the appropriate attire for the class which they are attending. Dancers have one month to make up any absence.

• Reminder that students can not miss more than 4 classes between January and Show. Students can make up in another class at the same level or a similar level.
• Dancers may also take private lessons to make up their absences.
• Tech classes can also be taken as make up classes for students in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. If you have any questions about what class your student can take to make up the office or the teacher would be happy to help you.

Practice Makes Progress

Please help your dancer by encouraging good practicing habits outside of class. When dancers practice and know the information which was taught in class they are more excited about returning to class.

TIP: Right when your dancer comes home take a video of what they remember so they can refer back to this information later in the week.

MUSIC

ALL Recital Music has been sent out. If you did not receive your child's music, please let us know. Reminder: you can view the emails in your parent portal!

VIDEOS

Videos have been sent, and videos will continue to be sent home as we finish choreography. Please use your videos at home to help your dancer!

Needing Additional Help?

If your dancer is needing some additional help with their routines, our faculty does offer private lessons. For more details stop by the office. Your private lesson can also be used as a make up class.
