Join us at Sherwood Celtic Yuletide Festival as we bring together live music, Highland Games, mead, and a full weekend of Celtic celebration.

Join us Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13, 2026 for Sherwood Celtic Yuletide Festival, a full weekend of live music, Highland Games, archery, falconry, artisans, food, drinks, and holiday fun at Sherwood Forest Faire.

Friday night kicks things off at 6:00 pm with live music and festive drinks, giving you an early start on the weekend before the full fairegrounds open on Saturday and Sunday. From there, the schedule fills up with Celtic music, pipes and drums, dance, storytelling, Highland Games, archery, falconry, fire performances, artisans, food, drinks, and plenty more to see and do.

Whether you come for the music, the competition, the shopping, the food, or just the chance to spend a December weekend doing something a little different, there is plenty to keep you busy from one end of the fairegrounds to the other.

Want to make a full weekend of it? Camping is available from Friday at noon through Monday at noon, so you can arrive early, stay late, and enjoy the entire weekend without having to rush home.

Scottish Highland Games - All Weekend

Ever thought about hurling a telephone pole end over end? The Scottish Highland Games bring a full weekend of strength and competition, including the Hammer Throw, Shot Put, Weight Over the Bar, and the always popular Caber Toss. You may even catch a World Champion in action.

Celtic Archery Tournament with Robert de Bowyer

The Sherwood Archers take center stage during the Celtic Archery Tournament. Watch skilled competitors test their accuracy and technique, and check the tournament rules if you’re interested in taking part.

Hawk Walk!

Get up close with the ancient art of falconry during the Hawk Walk. In a small group, you’ll walk the grounds with the Falconer as hawks fly from the trees to your gloved fist. Separate tickets are required for this experience.

Stay at Sherwood Castle

Make the weekend even more immersive with a stay at Sherwood Castle. Themed rooms put you just steps from the festival and make it easy to enjoy the entire weekend without leaving Sherwood. Rooms for December 11–13 are limited, so reserve early.

Sherwood Forest Summer Camp

GOOOOOOOOD MORNING SHERWOOD FOREST SUMMER CAMP!!!

2027 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

For one unforgettable week, campers step into Sherwood for blacksmithing, archery, sword fighting, leatherworking, chainmaille, stage combat, horsemanship, axe throwing, and more.

But Summer Camp is about more than the classes. It’s about making friends, trying something new, building confidence, and becoming part of the story of Sherwood.

And grown ups can join the adventure too. Grown Up Camp kicks off the summer with a weekend created for those who may have aged out of youth camp, but never outgrew the desire to play.

Disclaimer: Sherwood Forest Summer Camp is fraught with confrontations between Robin and his Merry Folk, the Sheriff and his deputies, and the Fae Folk. It is possible campers may be called upon to help Robin defend Sherwood Keep!
