This will allow us to provide socially distanced seating for everyone who wants to worship with us. If we reach 50% capacity in the Sanctuary, we will provide overflow seating in the Fellowship Hall/Skylight Room with video streaming. Anyone who has not preregistered will need to sign in Easter morning. You may also call the church office at 509-448-2909 to make a reservation. If that is not a convenient time for you, the service may be viewed at any time after 9 AM through the same link. For In-Person Worship, We Will Implement All Current Washington State Safety Measures: • You will need to sign in if you have not already made a reservation. • Masks are required at all times. • Singing with masks is allowed. (Read about the science of singing with masks at hamblenpres.org/worship, this study, or this website.) • Our building capacity limit has increased to 50%. • We ask everyone to keep 6 ft social distance when mingling. • 6 feet between groups of 15 people is now allowed, but we expect to provide distance between most households. • Overflow seating will be available in the Fellowship Hall and Skylight Room with a video stream if we reach sanctuary capacity.

Easter Egg Hunt On Easter Sunday, April 4, at 10:00 AM, kids ages preschool through 5th grade are invited to hunt for eggs filled with surprises. Wear your mask and bring your Easter basket. If you don’t have either, we’re happy to provide one. Learn more HERE.

NEWS TO NOTE

Stations of the Cross: 9 AM to 8 PM on Good Friday Experience the Scriptural Stations of the Cross during Holy Week at Hamblen this year. Fourteen pieces of art of various mediums, from a range of countries and time periods, will be on display in our chapel along with scripture readings and questions for silent meditation. Take your time experiencing each station as you make your own spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ. The chapel will be open during Holy Week (March 29-April 2) from noon until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 AM until 8:00 p.m. on Good Friday. The 14 Stations will take the place of a traditional Good Friday service.

April Communion This month only we will be taking communion on the second Sunday instead of the first Sunday of the month. We made this change for missional reasons since Easter falls on the first Sunday of the month this year.
