In the spirit of making waves with your words, it's time to raise the level of your concerns about the latest outrageous increase in slip fees proposed by DPHP.
Noted in the DP Times: "Supervisor Foley (5th District) said that her office has requested additional details from the Harbor Partners on the 'selection criteria, amenity survey, price comparison, and methodology,' to conduct a thorough assessment before forming an opinion on the methodology behind the latest increase."
Observation: If DPHP provided this information, they would likely have to lower prices, so they avoid doing so!
Noted in DP Times: Joe Ueberroth's comment: "…with the landside, we need to enhance our cash flow to be able to get funding from our lenders."
Observation: In other words, DPHP's commercial core, landside project plans will get completed on the backs of the boaters who receive no benefit from the commercial core re-development.
