Back to School Fest at ARCO Cincy

We had a blast at our recent Back to School Fest at ARCO Cincy. From free backpacks and school supplies to games, music, and family-friendly fun, the day was all about helping students start the year off strong.

We had 310 community members attend, and distributed 200 backpacks with school supplies and about 250 slices of pizza. Next year, let's make it even more!

We're so grateful to the partners, volunteers, and families who showed up to support our Greater Price Hill students. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when a community comes together to invest in its young minds.

This event was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Charles H. Dater Foundation, Cincy-Cinco, PNC Community Development Fund, Place Matters, CPPS Mission Heritage Fund, The Wohlgemuth Herschede Foundation, and the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association.

Promoting Our Preschoolers

Graduates!

Last week, Santa Maria’s Promoting Our Preschoolers (POP) program proudly celebrated the graduation of a bright and joyful group of children, ages 3 to 5, as they prepare to enter kindergarten this fall.

Families, staff, and community partners gathered to cheer on the young graduates, who’ve spent the past two years building language, literacy, and social-emotional skills through home visits and group activities.

One family even brought homemade horchata to share, a small act that reflected the deep sense of care and connection at the heart of POP.

The graduation ceremony was a reminder of what’s possible when families and communities come together to support a child’s early learning journey. We’re so proud of our POP kids and their families, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll do next!

We’re grateful to the Millstone Fund, The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, SC Ministry Foundation, PNC Grow Up Great, Mount Saint Joseph University, and Scripps Howard Fund for making this program possible and supporting our families every step of the way. Special thanks as well to the Price Hill Branch Library for hosting us!
