Turning Local Support Into Lasting Environmental Change

The Warren County Environmental Forum is a funding partner of the Warren County Foundation dedicated to expanding local conservation efforts. Through impact grants, the Forum helps individuals and small businesses bring projects to life, such as:

  • Greenhouses
  • Rain gardens & barrels
  • Composting bins

Each project strengthens our community’s commitment to healthy water, healthy soil, and sustainable practices.

"The Warren County Environmental Forum (WCEF) has been fortunate to partner with the Warren County Foundation (WCF) to help empower residents and entrepreneurs to lead with environmentally friendly practices. The WCF has already facilitated multiple grants, and we look forward to future applications to help Warren County become a more sustainable place! Without the help of the WCF, the WCEF would not be possible."

This October, community fun and conservation go hand-in-hand.

The 12th Annual Lebanon Oktoberfest, presented by Molson Coors, will take place in Downtown Lebanon on October 10–11, 2025.

While the festival brings music, food, and family fun, its impact goes much deeper:

All proceeds from Oktoberfest will benefit the Warren County Environmental Forum.

🌿 The Urban Conservation Learning Lab (UCLL)

Located next door to the Warren County Foundation, the Urban Conservation Learning Lab—developed in partnership with the Warren County Soil & Water Conservation District (WCSWCD)—is a place where conservation comes alive.

Visitors can explore working examples of rain gardens, composting systems, and more, seeing firsthand how simple steps can improve the environment in their own backyards.

Environmental Forum Grant Program

The forum supports local projects that promote conservation and sustainable practices through education, community engagement, and grants. Funding is awarded to individuals or businesses making a positive environmental impact in Warren County.

Examples include: rain gardens, biodegradable products, composting, recycling, and other green initiatives.
