Make a SPLASH This Summer!

The pools are open, kids are home for break, and we are officially kicking off summer! This past weekend is often known as the transition into the new season, and we definitely treated it that way! The Pros had a blast starting the long weekend early with a team cookout - Check out our social media pages for pictures.

In May, we kept busy bringing some amazing projects to life, but we also took a bit of time to reflect on the early days before Property Pros grew into what it is today and celebrated receiving some wonderful client reviews! In case you missed our special notice last week, we want to start thinking about how to help your plants thrive in the heat of the season with little rain. Odds are, your plants will be thirstier this month, so we’re reviewing our watering guidelines to get your plants off on the right “root”!

If your plants have recently been planted, you can utilize our Watering Guidelines as a helpful tool to ensure plants are receiving the proper amount of hydration. Newly installed plants can wick water away from roots, if they feel they are in a drought. While watering on top of rainfall could seem excessive, accommodating for this wicking is vital for the plant's establishment.

For recently sodded or seeded lawns, check in with the provided Lawn Watering Instructions to ensure the turf is receiving accurate hydration for its current growth state. This can usually be done with a simple soil dampness check.

If The Pros are currently working a job on your property, your plants and turf should be tended to accordingly by our team. Take a quick look at any un-installed or recently installed plants, watering if they appear in need, or informing our teams accordingly.

#ProTip: If you’re going on vacation this summer, don’t chance it by hoping for rain. Give the Pros a call to get on our watering schedule!

Watering Guidelines

If you have big dreams for your outdoor space but you'd rather complete your project in smaller phases, you're in good company!

That’s exactly what these Carmel homeowners did in their backyard. What started as a simple deck was transformed into a fun-filled family area with new pool to cool off during hot summer days, gas fire pit for cozy evenings, and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy their beautiful view.

This family purchased this home because it sits on a peaceful neighborhood pond with huge weeping willows framing their backyard. They enjoy spending time outdoors and wanted to elevate their time spent outside.

The goal for this space was to create a modern look, and our Landscape Designer, Tracy Cox, designed a plan with intentional details to add to a more contemporary feel. We hit some challenges along the way with figuring out the proper drainage system the space would need, but it was nothing the Pros couldn't handle!

When the clients are ready for Phase 2, we will install a covered pavilion with a Brazilian barbeque for incredible family dinners and a bar to host friends and neighbors! This home is sure to be the most popular house on the block, and we can’t wait to see how they enjoy their space!
