World records, amazing athletes, and spreading the importance of learning to swim...
The 2018 Make a Splash Tour presented by Phillips 66 comes to a close with an amazing line-up of all-star swimmers
The USA Swimming Foundation's 10 th  Annual Make a Splash Tour presented by Phillips 66 visited 4 cities across the country to bring awareness to the importance of water safety and learning to swim.
Community members and families in Washington D.C., Seattle, San Francisco, and Orlando participated in various activities and swim lessons with some of USA Swimming’s brightest stars and biggest legends including:  Missy Franklin, Cullen Jones , Nathan Adrian , Josh Davis, Caeleb Dressel, Rowdy Gaines, Andrew Gemmell, Katie Ledecky, Ryan Lochte, Ryan Murphy , and Reece Whitley .

On Friday, June 1 the USA Swimming Foundation set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® record for the World’s Largest Kickboard. Our gigantic kickboard, which is 13 times the standard adult size board at 18 feet high by 11 feet wide, is making it's way across the country to serve as a larger-than-life reminder of the importance of learning to swim.

Featured Philanthropists:
Congratulations to Rose Bowl Aquatics for raising more than $125,000 through their 2018 Swim-a-Thon . This is their fifth year participating in the Swim-a-Thon program and they have earned the distinction of being the only team to have raised more than $100,000 each year through their events!
Through Swim-a-Thon, Rose Bowl Aquatics and teams all across the country raise funds to support their swimmers and programs. 5% of the revenue raised by each Swim-a-Thon goes to support the USA Swimming Foundation's Make a Splash initiative and USA Swimming programs including the National Age Group Coaches Summit, the Women’s Leadership Conference series, and Regional Coaches Clinics.

Thank you to all the teams who host Swim-a-Thons and congratulations to Head Coach Jeff Julian, Coach James Gallagher, and the rest of Rose Bowl's coaches, staff, parents, and swimmers on this special accomplishment!
