Take a hike on the Buffalo Creek Preserve Trail during National Great Outdoors Month.

Throughout the summer, Walk Cabarrus is highlighting one of the many places to enjoy a walk around Cabarrus County with a Walk of the Month. This month, discover the beauty of the Buffalo Creek Preserve Trail, a 4.2-mile out-and-back route in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.

What is Walk Cabarrus? It’s a healthy walking initiative supported by the Cabarrus Health Alliance and the Cabarrus Wellness Coalition. Users can log their steps online towards a community goal. Started during the pandemic, it is now in its 4th year.
