Today I wanted to show you a quick and easy card using embossing and sponge daubers. The best bit is this technique can easily be adapted to any folders and ink colours you have at home. I hope you like it,

I really love how this card turned out, and it was very easy to make. Here are the steps:

1. I started with a piece of Shimmery White cardstock 9.4 x 14cm and embossed it in the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder (in the July to December Mini Catalogue).
2. Next I used sponge daubers tapped onto my stamp pads to add 3 ink colours: I started with Soft Sea Foam, and then added Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow highlights.
3. Sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso (sentiment is from Ringed with Nature stamp set).
4. I added an Early Espresso cardstock mat, and then adhered to an Old Olive card base.
5. To embellish I added some Linen Thread and Gold Metallic Trim (from the Simply Elegant Trim Pack) tied in a bow.
