More than 10 Afterschool STEM Clubs in Worcester and Lowell are seeking mentors to meet with students for small group support and encouragement. Programs are at both the High School and Middle School level and will highlight student-driven exploration across a range of topics. Interactions will be primarily virtual again this year with 1 to 5 mentors supporting each classroom.

Schedules vary per school, but generally run once a week on a weekday afternoon for one to two hours in the afternoon. Please see details at this signup form and let us know if you have questions.

MSEF supports High School students in finding connections to professionals in industry and academia to support their project work, with a focus on districts designated more than 50% high need by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

These mentor connections could be for one-time feedback conversations or sustained relationships into the spring. These will be primarily virtual connections. We will work to pair students with professionals in a field that is the best fit for their project area.
