Supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 65 years

December 19, 2018

May your coming year be filled with
magic and dreams and good madness.
I hope you read some fine books and
kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful,
and don't forget to make some art -- write or
draw or build or sing or live as only you can.
And I hope, somewhere in the next year,
you surprise yourself.

What's Happening at The Arc Dane County
People With Disabilities Have a Voice at the Governor-Elect's Table Governor-elect Tony Evers and Lt. Governor-elect Mandela Barnes announced their Next Generation Workforce and Economic Development Policy Advisory Council bringing experienced economic development stakeholders from across Wisconsin to work with the transition team on creating an economy that works for everyone.  Executive Director of The Arc Wisconsin, Lisa Pugh, has been named to this Advisory Council.

"More than 800,000 families in Wisconsin can't afford basic necessities. Investing in an economy that creates good-paying, family-supporting jobs for the people of Wisconsin is a top priority for our administration," said Evers.  Click here for the full release.

  • Because of you, advocacy information is at the fingertips of hundreds of families throughout Dane County.
  • Because of you, families, guardians and people with disabilities are connecting and finding support.
