Time Saved Vs. Time Served Virtual Art Exhibit
With the support of ArtsWave Truth and Reconciliation Grant, artist and ArtWorks Board Member Tyra Patterson is introducing the Time Saved Vs. Time Served Virtual Art Exhibit.

The exhibit is looking for women artists and creatives who have been directly impacted by incarceration to submit a visual art piece (painting, drawing, photograph, sculpture, ceramics) showing another woman they personally know who has also been directly impacted. The artist must depict the woman in the artwork wearing a state-issued uniform. The uniform symbolizes the dehumanizing conditions women face in prison.

Please share this video and website with anyone you think would be interested. We are inviting artists around the country to submit their art by or before March 1.
