POETRY MAKERS
April is National Poetry Month!

Make poetry throughout the month of April using the many tools in our Makerspace! Our Poetry Makers series kick-off event on April 6 will feature readings from local poets Lisa Rosenberg, Kevin Madrigal Galindo, & Coco Peezy, and San Mateo County Poet Laureate Aileen Cassinetto.

Wednesdays @ 6:30pm in the Makerspace: April 6, April 13, April 20, April 27

SAT APR 16 @ 1pm in the Makerspace
Youth poets will be reading and making poems in our Makerspace using found and recycled objects! Hosted by local youth poets Cassandra Bousquest and Chloe Chou with San Mateo County Poet Laureate Aileen Cassinetto.

SAT APR 23 @ 11am in the Makerspace
La poesía es el mejor remedio para tiempos difíciles. Es como un abrazo que nos arropa. Y durante esta hora leeremos algunos poemas para sentir y acompañarnos. También haremos uno propio.

Poetry Month wouldn't be the same without our reading recommendations! Here's our Poetry Picks list and another inspired by Amanda Gorman
