November's Clean Action challenge is the Bring Your Own Cup Challenge (BYOC)! This month and every month, we should strive to reduce plastic waste to help our health, environment, and economy. Did you know that Americans use about 120 billion disposable cups every year?
Challenge: Use a reusable cup instead of disposable cups for beverages.
Purpose: We can each reduce nearly a pound of carbon dioxide when we switch to reusable cups for one month.
How to participate? It's simple!
Snap a photo while participating in the BYOC challenge.
Upload your photo(s) to Instagram with your country name and a few words about how you feel about participating in the challenge. Include the hashtags #CleanAction and #WeLoveU, oremail the photo and caption to cleanaction@intlweloveu.org.
Note: Selected submissions will be displayed on the International WeLoveU Foundation's Clean Action Instagram.
