WINTER MAKERCLUB
Create with us during winter break!

Join us at the Downtown Library Makerspace December 17-January 7 for Winter MakerClub! Kids ages 3 to 13, drop in and create winter themed projects. As you complete projects, collect free books and drawing tickets. New projects will be available daily.

The details:
Saturday, December 17: Kick Off, 10am-5pm
Tuesdays: 3-8pm
Wednesdays: 3-6pm
Thursdays: 10am-3pm
Saturday, January 7: Open House, 1-3pm

HOMEMADE FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Get in the holiday spirit and join the festivities as Redwood City’s Downtown Business Group brings Hometown Holidays, a party to celebrate the holiday season, RAIN OR SHINE! Guests can enjoy a parade, live entertainment, carnival rides, photos with Santa, and more! Hometown Holidays is a free, family-friendly event, taking place on Courthouse Square. Come say hi to RCPL staff at our booth neighboring Friends of the Redwood City Public Library.

Adult Makers: Holiday Edition

Add a handmade touch to holiday gifts, cards, labels, and packaging using a variety of Makerspace tools. Also! Create festive seasonal decorations on December 14.

Teen Center Holiday Party

On Dec 21, celebrate with us at the Teen Center and build your own gingerbread house, enjoy some holiday treats, or just kick back and watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special!

Holiday Celebrations Around You Storytimes

Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays... whichever they may be! From December 12-16, our storytimes for children will feature books about holidays celebrated both around the world and in your own neighborhood! Learn about friends who celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Omisoka, and more.⁠
