MAKEOVER MONDAY

For years I have created exterior visuals for investors that I work with. They in turn use those photo renderings to give to their contractors to bring that vision to life. Investors update the exteriors to help increase the curb appeal which in turn helps increase the homes value.

Home owners can also use this service to make their exteriors more attractive for resale but also to help them just love the exterior of their home...and feel that love everytime they pull into the driveway.

BEFORE...

Painting the decorative trim color the same as the body color can create a large plain wall on an exterior. As I've mentioned before...brick is challenging. Some people love it, some people dont. Red brick is especially challenging with it's 'orangey' hue...it can be tricky to work with.

OPTION 1

I call this the 'Overhaul Version'. Painting the body and trim different colors is just the beginning. The maximum effect comes from adding a new wood garage door, new exterior lights, a new front door, new black windows and decorative wood headers on the windows.

OPTION 2

Between shutters, trim, garage door and front door, most homes use a minimum of 3 colors. This version is just paint with the brick untouched.

OPTION 3

This is still 3 colors but I also painted the brick again. Painting the brick the same as the trim makes that smaller gable end as prominent as the 2 larger gable ends. I did change the garage lights...but that's very minor...even I can change out a sconce light :)
