Library MakerLab Specialist Recognized as Top Ten of the Next Gen
Fredericksburg, Virginia, December 5, 2019 - Simon Watts, Youth Services MakerLab Specialist for Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL), has received a Top 10 of the Next Gen award from the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The Top 10 of the Next Generation awards ten individuals who are emerging as true leaders. Each Top 10 of the Next Gen award goes to an individual who excels in the business environment, has a passion for community, and is innovative in their approach.

Simon's efforts to develop the IdeaSpace digital media lab, his leading role in establishing Fredericksburg's Canal Quarter maker district, and his involvement in CRRL MakerLab operations led to this recognition.
