Who doesn't love fall? Although the sun still warms your face when you're outside, it isn't quite as intense. With the a/c off you can open the windows and hear the folksy music of the crickets and locusts. Mornings require your fuzzy slippers; evenings your "broken-in" sweatshirt that your spouse tries to hide from you in the dark corner of your closet.
The problem is - we all know what comes after fall.
So make the most of the last of the warm days. Get outside to see the pickle weed turning scarlet and the sea lavender blushing the marsh. Wish the Osprey God's speed. Keep depositing to your warm-weather memory bank so that you'll have enough to live on all winter long.
We'll see you on the water!

This year, with the summer-like fall we’ve been experiencing, the inevitable seasonal changes in the area flora took us by surprise.
